April 14, 2011...Feather Accessory
Trying new styles...I pulled the sides back and brushed Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie on them to slick them down. Then I two strand twisted the top part and pinned them back. Topped everything off with a black feather hair accessory.
I got the Accessory from one of my fave local shops Fire Finch. It is on 21st Ave in Nashville.

April 11, 2011...Headscarf
Continuing with the head scarf theme. This time i did a two strand twist the night before so it was kinda wavy and curly.
My hair is starting to look darker as well.

April 9, 2011...Headwrap
Today I used one of my head wraps that I bought a while back. My hair accessories seem to pop more against my blonde hair. I have a hump in the front and just wrapped the scarf around the back.
Later that night I had my fro out. I went to a party with friends.

April 8, 2011....Humpty Hump and Hair Color
I went ahead and colored my whole hair blonde. I am semi happy with the results. I did the bun roll thingy that i always do.
I wore the style later that night with a metallic flower headband. The headband is from Fire Finch in Nashville. Don't go there if you are allergic to cats....
I used Dark and Lovely in Light Golden Blonde. I did not turn out as light as the color on the box.

April 7 2011...Wiz Khalifa Patch and Bantu Knot-Out
I got bored so i colored a patch of hair blonde....my students at the school where I work are saying it looks like Wiz Khalifa. LOL. Anyways, here are the pics. I like the color. I may do my whole head like this soon.
I used Dark and Lovely Hair Color in Honey Blonde...not quite honey blonde but almost.
The other side is twisted into the poof. To get the curly look I two strand twisted my hair and then put the twists into bantu knots.
